Bioptic telescopic glasses are one of the most popular Low Vision glasses. They are designed as miniature binoculars above your line of sight in your eyeglasses. The higher the size of the telescope, the wider the range of view. The power of the telescope ranges from two to four times magnification. Telescopes at a four times magnification allow the patient to adjust the lens power as needed based on distance.
